Terms of Service

1. Description of Service

ReplyGen is an AI-powered Chrome extension that generates context-aware reply suggestions for LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and Threads. The Service is a drafting assistant — all replies generated are suggestions for you to review, edit, and post. You are solely responsible for any content you publish on third-party platforms.

2. Account and Authentication

Access to the Service requires authentication via email magic link. You must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Sharing your account with others is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend accounts suspected of unauthorized sharing or abuse.

3. Trial Access

New users receive 25 complimentary generation tokens ("Trial Tokens"). Trial Tokens are non-transferable and valid for 7 days from account creation. Once Trial Tokens are exhausted or expire, a Pro Membership is required to continue generating replies. Trial access may not be obtained by creating multiple accounts — such abuse will result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.

4. Payments and Billing

All purchases are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the seller of record and is responsible for collecting payment, issuing receipts, and handling applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax).

• Pro Membership — a one-time payment per platform (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, or Threads) granting lifetime access to Pro features and 1,500 generation tokens.
• Token Refill Packs — available to Pro Members only. A one-time purchase of 1,500 additional tokens. Tokens do not expire.
• Prices are displayed in USD and may be converted to local currency at checkout.
• All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes where required.

5. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with ReplyGen. Our refund policy is as follows:

• Pro Membership — 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, email support@replygen.app within 7 days of your purchase with your order details. No questions asked.
• Token Refill Packs — non-refundable. Token Refill Packs are consumable digital goods. Once purchased, they are non-refundable regardless of token usage, as the tokens are immediately credited to your account.
• Refunds are processed by our payment provider and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
• Accounts found to be abusing the refund policy (e.g., repeated purchase-and-refund cycles) may be permanently restricted.

6. Token System

• 1 token is consumed per AI generation request, regardless of reply length.
• Tokens are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash.
• BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) mode allows Pro Members to use their own Google Gemini API key; no tokens are deducted in BYOK mode.
• We reserve the right to adjust the token cost per generation with 30 days' notice to existing users.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Automate or bot-like mass posting, spamming, or harassment on any platform.
• Generate content that is defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or violates any applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent any part of the Service.
• Create multiple accounts to obtain additional Trial Tokens.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service.

Violation of these terms will result in immediate account suspension without refund.

8. Third-Party Platforms

The Service interacts with LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and Threads. These platforms have their own terms of service. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any platform you use. ReplyGen is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with LinkedIn, X Corp, or Meta Platforms.

9. Intellectual Property

ReplyGen and all associated trademarks, logos, and software are the property of ReplyGen. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal or professional use. AI-generated reply suggestions are provided as outputs for your use; you own any content you choose to publish.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSES.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REPLYGEN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access without notice if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 9–13 survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at support@replygen.app. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
